A prayer shawl/blanket or pocket square provide comfort in illness, loss, or grief in a tangible way. As the prayer shawl is created, prayers are said for the recipient over each stitch. The recipient is given the shawl with a note explaining it's significance. No two shawls are the same. The physical warmth and softness of the shawl gives the recipient something to wrap up in that represents being wrapped in love and prayers. Shawls are created with soft yarns in standard shawl lengths. Pocket squares are pocket-sized to be held in a hand in a more portable format.
